“Aeghis doesn’t just teach you how to win a match — he teaches you how to think like a high-level player.”

“Most coaches give tips. Aeghis gives you a framework. It’s the difference between copying plays and understanding the game.”
〰️
“He teaches the logic behind the game — things that stay true across expansions and matchups.”
〰️
“His mindset coaching alone was worth it. I stopped panicking, started thinking, and climbed instantly.”
〰️
“Best coach I’ve ever had. My confidence, awareness, and win rate skyrocketed. 6-0 lobbies went from rare to routine.”
〰️
“Aeghis taught me how to think like a mage, not just play one. Next day I went 6-0 into double melee — zero panic, full control.”

My approach to coaching
In my experience, players often fall into these categories
Great mechanics/knowledge, bad decision making
When I watch you, I can follow your lines of play very easily and can see the decisions being made with clear intent, however, the lines of play you chose to follow were incorrect or inefficiently executed.
We will focus on correcting these lines of play, conceptually, so that you understand win conditions and how to weigh risk/reward situations better.
OK mechanics/knowledge, held back by mental blocks and bad habits
[MOST PLAYERS ARE HERE]
When I watch you, I see major opportunities being missed, repeated inefficiencies, and a lack of intent.
Most of the time, these missed opportunities are the player misvaluing certain interactions, tunnel-visioning caused by mental blocks, or simply learned something the wrong way and are continuing to do it wrong.
What’s important for coaching this type of player is to first rewire their approach to the game, as the foundation they have in place is harming their gameplay.
Lacking crucial, basic, foundational information
This player is usually only informed of their own class (or not even that) and therefore can only focus on their own actions, unaware of what others are doing, and unaware what the information on their screen means.
The issue that needs fixed is “ability-to-eye understanding” or, recognition of what icons in the game do AND mean, so that you can use that actively available information to direct your intuition to make better decisions.
What’s important for coaching this type of player is kind of “schooling” them. Teaching them a spell in the game, then giving them a test in-game to simulate an in-game decision.

My name is Ian, I’m 26 years old, and I have been playing World of Warcraft for my entire life.
As I played throughout the years, I became very intrigued on how to channel this passion into something that could become a sustainable lifestyle.
Fast forward over 15 years and I have 11 total unique Rank 1 Gladiator/Legend titles on the Mage class, as well as Gladiator on most other classes. I’ve also grown a successful Twitch Channel & YouTube Channel, showcasing my gameplay and providing educational content about WoW PvP.
…and I’ve done HUNDREDS of coaching sessions along the way!
During this time, I honed my teaching skills and feel confident coaching any player, no matter the foundation.
